Wouldn't hurt to try it. The basic commands (freq mode etc.) are the same
between the K2 and K3. Since the K2 and K3 basics are Kenwood compatible,
I'd bet LP Bridge would handle a Kenwood nicely too.

No, LP-Bridge does not allow multiple applications to access the same
COM port .. it allows multiple applications to access the same *K3*,
by placing itself in the middle, and forming a "virtual K3", which
keeps itself in sync with the real K3, and provides access to
applications through virtual COM ports. It doesn't work for any rig
other than the K3 (AFAIK).
