[Elecraft] query on K3 serial application with JT65a

  Dick,

Were you in DATA mode?  And, in addition --
What Data sub-mode did you have selected?  If it was something other 
than DATA A (or AFSK A), yes it is quite possible that the K3 would 
produce a carrier.
