[Elecraft] query on K3 serial application with JT65a

Dick, this could be something really simple: if the K3 is in CW mode when
you switch to transmit with JT65, it will transmit a full carrier as you
noted. If it's in USB mode, it will behave as expected. Been there, done
that. Could be something else, but check the simple stuff first.
