Curt,
Yes, the 3 pins at the rear of the switch are the ones for the switch,
and it is integral to the jack housing.
I can't recall which two of the 3 pins close the speaker circuit, but
since your speaker does not work, check continuity - the two that show
continuity are NOT the ones for the speaker - if you want a "quick fix"
while waiting for the replacement jack, short the two pins that are
currently open, and your speaker should come alive again. If you need
to silence the speaker, put an empty plug into the external speaker jack.

Looking at the headphone jack lands from the bottom of the rig with the bottom cover removed, and the front of the rig closest to me, I'm thinking that the back lands are the switch contacts? Center and right should have continuity with the headphone jack removed? Open with the jack installed?
