Unless Heil has changed their lineup, the Goldline does not have an HC-4 and
an HC-5 element.  This cartridge lineup is in the HM-10 Dual mic, generally
a little cheaper than the Goldline.

The Goldlines are listed as GM-4 or GM-5 or lately the GM-5.1.  These mics
have a very wide studio like cartridge deep inside the handle, and either an
HC-4 or 5 element at the end under the Ball screen.  The "Wide" setting uses
the studio element and the "Narrow" uses the HC-4 or 5, whichever the mic
was supplied with.

I have several friends with GM-5 mics and they always sound real nice.  On
the wide setting, the sound is incredible.  The mic sounds very different
with the HC-5 element.  I don't think I know of anyone with a GM-4 with the
"Narrow" so called "Dream Machine" element.

I have an HM-10 Dual and like it very much.  I get consistent "Great Audio"
reports but admit I use the HC-5 "Wide" element most of the time.  The
"Narrow" HC-4 is too harsh for my taste.  But it can be useful for busting
those pile-ups on rare DX stations.

I don't think you'll be unhappy with the Goldline, but I'd recommend the
GM-5 as it is much nicer sounding.
