[Elecraft] [K2] Hardened K2 for HFPack?

Looking at my K3 closer, the finished hardwood extended sides that someone else
suggested would look pretty darn sharp.  They could be fitted over the existing
side panels with longer flat head screws after removing rubber bumpers and
handle.  Extra personal detailing could be done with  laser engraving.  Anyone
already done this?

Not that I have an interest in buying one for my K3 but for $50.00 I'd
be hard pressed to make my own set.  These look great!

A trip to the local anodizing shop would get you any color you'd like.
