[Elecraft] K3 audio speaker jack

The radio shack adapter #274-375 does not short them. It separates the 
1/8 Stereo
plug into two 1/8 mono jacks.   Plugging into the channel of interest 
should be fine.
The catalog states,  "Use to separate left and right channel signals."
