[Elecraft] RX freq issue with ESSB 3k using KFL3A-6K

Adrian:
I use the KFL3A-6K with "TX ESSB = On" from time to time. I have
never experienced anything like what you describe on SSB.
Admittedly, when I have tried it, I usually have the TX ESSB set to
3.2k since I don't have the new DSP board with extended low
frequency TX, but this should not make a difference.
However, what you describe as "receive audio shift" sounds
suspiciously similar to what we have been noticing with sending
chained messages on FSK D mode (see threads on this topic).
Wayne has just reported, this afternoon, that he has found a fix
and that it has to do with the wrong RX filter being switched in
after transmitting a chained memory using FSK D mode. Could
you be experiencing something related? I don't know. Seems
unlikely, but . . . let's see.
I will be testing out the new potential fix shortly.
