Joe - while I appreciate your concern for cluttering the list with fan noise
"noise," that's exactly what these lists are for -- discussion -- and now
there are loads of tools and filtering options for incoming email. Gmail's
threads for example will keep all related messages together (if subject is
the same)... I think there's more value in letting everybody see the
responses as they come in. Relative to the grand scheme of things, even the
fully loaded thread will be nothing compared to the rest of the bandwidth
used around it. Great stuff, bring it on...! Just my opinion.
