So is not possible to get 100 watts outside bands? For example in 6999.5.
There´s to be CB that QRM in 7000, and I ask them in 6999.5 to move down and
most of the time they gently move down to another channel..!

Martin,
Exactly! You need the KBPF3 General Coverage board and KVX3 (which
it sounds like you have). Then go into Configuration and select the
KVX3 rotate the main VFO knob to select the TEST mode and exit
Config. The radio will not transmit on any frequency dialed up with
up to 1mw out at the transverter output jack (hopefully this is
sufficient drive for your UHF xvtr; I will be driving a DEMI 144/28
xvtr with my K3 at 1mw). Elecraft intended the TEST mode to allow
transmitting so that the Tx RF amp was disabled and no harm would
occur. Like code practise sending.
But it turns out to be a good sneak circuit for transmitting outside
ham bands (albeit at very low RF).
This is how I use my K3 to transmit at 500-KHz as part of the ARRL
Experimental 600 meter Group (WD2XSH). I follow the K3 with a 2N915
buffer amp which drives a surplus converted non-directional beacon
transmitter to 100w output on 495-510-KHz. Our group is only
permitted to use CW, QRSS, PSK and WSPR - no voice modes.

Elecrafters,
how can i make a K3 transmit outside the ham bands?
I have a non-elecraft transverter covering 430-440 Mhz, i need to RX &
TX from 20-30Mhz. I guess i will also need the general coverage filter?
