[Elecraft] Two Button Press Timing

I'm having a problem getting the knack of the Two button Pressing for the
various functions.  Menu & Band for Tune or Band & RIT for Display.  Seems
if I push them simultaneously I get one or the other, so I push the first
one and wait a heartbeat and then push the second and this might work or
I'll get the first buttons "Hold" function.

I get the "Tap" (press and release) idea, and I'm assuming the "Hold" is
probably programmed for >1 second?

Does anyone know what the button delay configuration is for the Two Button
Functions?  I get it right about 50 % of the time so maybe if I understand
what it is expecting that will help me.
