[Elecraft] Loose KIO3 I/O Module?

Tim,

Yes, there is some movement to the KIO3 3.5mm jacks.  It is not much and 
in the extreme should be limited by the holes in the panel (the front of 
the jacks extend through the holes in the panel.  If your jacks do not 
extend through the panel, then your panel is mounted incorrectly and 
should be fixed, but otherwise it should be OK for them to move a bit.  
The body of the jacks do make contact with the panel and that does 
reduce the motion a bit.

You might check the 1 1/4 inch standoffs - there should be no lockwasher 
between the board and the standoff (the lockwasher goes under the screw 
head).
