[Elecraft] K3 Utility Installation Problem (somewhat OT)

Dick,
I just ran the install on my Win7 Home Premium box with no problems, and I did not
have to run as admin.
There is a permission problem. Try going to
"C:\Users\Dick\AppData\Local\Temp\" and see if it's marked "read only" or if Win7 prohibits you access. Try to copy something there.
That should normally be a writable directory. Win7 just REALLY doesn't want to have updatable files (ie a database or configuration file) under Program Files.
