[Elecraft] K2 displayed power during final part 3 alignment

I just completed my final alignment and testing in part 3.  It took me two tries 
but I think that I finally got everything set OK.  I do however have a question 
about the displayed power value on the K2 during the tuning process.  My display 
seemed to be a little inconsistent during the alignment process.  For example, 
on 40-meters with the power level set at 2.0 watts, punching the tune button 
will usually display about 2.4 watts but once in a while it might only be 1.7 
watts.  (Working into a 50 ohm dummy load of course.)  Any idea about what might 
be going on with this?
