Johnny,
I can't say that I've done much portable with K2 or K3 ... that 35
amp-hour gel-cell that I use is too heavy to lug around, even with the
handle that's build onto it. It's my emergency backup, and it can keep
either radio going for quite awhile (at least until I fire up the
generator!)
