Yep. A new errata was released last week covering that change, but I see
it's not on the web site yet either. 

Those holes are for mounting the new K144XV option. You should have received
three 6/32 1/4" black flat head screws, three 6/32 nuts and three #6 lock
washers to put in them to fill them up.

Just putting my K3 together serial 3619 and on the left side panel where the
handle goes my panel has 3 extra holes?? In the center of the panel just
above the handle. I can't see these holes in the parts pic for the left
panel, is this ok??
