[Elecraft] K3 Leftside panel

Hi all,
Just putting my K3 together serial 3619 and on the left side panel where the handle goes my panel has 3 extra holes?? In the center of the panel just above the handle. I can't see these holes in the parts pic for the left panel, is this ok??
