Yes. About five years ago, while still in Chicago, I bought a half dozen 
different inexpensive Plantronics headsets and made connector adapters to 
use with my radios. I used them with my K2, TS850, and 746, and they all 
worked very well to the extent that they produced excellent, competitive 
ham audio. BUT -- their form factor wasn't great, so I never fell in love 
with them, and none found a home in my shack. There are a few paragraphs in 
an appendix to the RFI tutorial about how to power them from a computer or 
ham rig.

As I recall, you sounded good, but I was pretty toasty by then -- it was 
the last few hours, and I think I called you Greg. :)  Oh well -- at least 
I recognized your call. I should -- we've worked at least a half dozen 
times in contests.
