Reports like that from a number of people have spanned at least half a
century that I know of and seem quite true. Usually they are about people
bothered by "talking" in their mouth or head caused by a filling rectifying
a nearby AM radio station.
It seems to me I saw more of such reports in the 50's and 60's than lately.
I wonder if that's because mercury amalgam is not commonly used by many
dentists today, and most old fillings have deteriorated and been replaced?
It is a reminder that poor contacts just about anywhere near an RF field can
cause bizarre effects producing RFI problems, whether it's in the mercury
amalgam, a loose bolt or a poorly soldered connection in or near an antenna.
