Yep, same problem here with DXBase. Whenever I hit a callout and the mode is
different than where the K3 is at, the offset comes into play whether I am
going to SSB or CW. Once I am in a mode, say CW and I select another callout
everything is fine.
If I double click a callout when switching modes everything is fine.
This all happens only if the "Auto CW VFO offset on mode change" is on.
Not a big problem once you get used to it.

It's because clicking on the spot results in (at least) two actions:
1) Set the radio frequency to 50.125
2) Set the radio mode to SSB
Unfortunately the second step invokes the CW offset adjustment, and
leaves you <pitch>Hz off where you wanted to be.
If your software set the mode before setting the frequency, it should
work as you expect.
I had the same problem, using the DXLabs Suite.
