I agree 100%. I never use RIT. Why would I want to use that dinky little
RIT knob when I can use the big fat Main VFO A knob (as you described using
Split)? PIEXX made a nice addition to their TS-930S digital interface mod
which I believe is now on Elecraft's (aka Wayne's) list.

D. LOCK in TS-930S jargon is "DIAL LOCK". So when you press D. LOCK, the TX
frequency is locked but the RX frequency can still be changed by turning the
Main VFO. IMHO this will be a nice addition when Wayne gets around to it.
I did have to use the K3's RIT to do Diversity Split in an early release but
that problem has since been solved now that Diversity Split is implemented.
What a joy not to touch that dinky RIT knob any longer!
