Good Evening,
   Twenty meters was OK tonight. Nothing spectacular but we were able to meet and greet one another. When I closed the net KL7CW was calling N9OHW so my goal had been attained. The original purpose for the net was for folks to meet like minded people. Plus two KX1 guys got to chat a little :) We ran for a little over thirty minutes. There was some QSB on almost every station but the best signal came from KL7CW. This is fairly normal; there seems to be a pipeline between Palmer and Green Mountain.
   The repaired antennas are working OK. I do need to get the lower antenna raised and I have gotten a few suggestions for some strain relief for when the winds are high and the branches are flying and the snow load is great. Each guy line is held down by rocks tied to weigh them down. However the fir trees protect themselves with sap so after a few years the lines are stuck. When I moved the center guy from one tree to another this summer I had to use the F-250 to pull it loose! Eventually the line parted but it took quite a bit of pulling to accomplish this. I am glad it parted on the far side of the tree so I could get the guy down from that side.
   On to the list =>

      73,
