If you are going to extract an IF sample out of the K2, the Z10000 
buffer amplifier can be installed inside the K2 with the internal 
installation option. This provides a convenient IF output with bandpass 
filtering, protected against short circuits on the IF sample port 
connector and with excellent  isolation--around 100 dB reverse gain when 
installed according to the instructions provided with the Z10000 kit.
