The first post I saw about this weeks ago I emailed parts at elecraft.com and had replacement knobs in 2 days for 2 radios, FREE. They even apologized for "any inconveniece". The knobs had not failed yet and I take them off every day to clean them. (joking).  Elecraft - you rock!

Hi all,

As we've said multiple times: We immediately replace such knobs on  
request. Posting about it on the reflector doesn't count. Please
