[Elecraft] K3 and HRD - can't connect

        Thank you Iain and Dick. The serial connection from my laptop to the K3 is now working properly. I tried changing COM ports and port settings without success. Then I shut down the computer, unplugged the two USB devices, restarted the computer, reattached the USB to serial cable and all is well.
