No, but the K3 should have a mode memory so that particular EQ settings
(including OFF) remain with particular modes when changing back and forth. TX
EQ can be potentially useful in equalizing the amplitudes of the four tones in
FSK441 (used in high-speed meteor scatter) if the TX passband isn't quite
flat. You might even want to boost the high and low tones just a tad to
compensate for other guys' too-narrow passbands on RX...
