I'm looking to purchase a KSB2 SSB adapter for the K2. If you have one you
don't need, please let me know offline.

Hi Dave,

If you purchase a used KSB2, it won't come with all of the parts
required to install it in your K2. This is because an un-built KSB2 kit
includes about a dozen parts which must be added to your K2:

o RF-J9, J10, J11
o FP-C4..C8, P1, Q3, R13, RP3
o 3/8" Aluminum standoff
o Miscellaneous hardware

Thus if you purchase a used KSB2, the above parts will already be
installed in the "sellers" radio.

You can get the necessary parts from Elecraft by ordering each of them
individually, or you can get a single kit containing all of them by
purchasing the Rework Eliminator(TM) KSB2 Duplicate K2 PCB Parts kit. To
learn more about this kit, see the "What Else Do I Need?" and "Product
Specifications" pages on the http://www.unpcbs.com/ website.

While you are there, also check out the Rework Eliminator(TM) K2
Internal Mic Adaptor (IMA), which is described in detail on the FAQ page.
The IMA makes it really easy to configure the K2 for seven different
pin-outs which support more than 50 microphones! The IMA also offers jumper
selection of the commonly required external bias resistances, and then some.
FYI, without the IMA your stock K2 doesn't have a "graceful" way to provide
(or to subsequently alter) external microphone bias resistance.
