[Elecraft] K2 Parts ID

I used my 2.7c for C22 3.3pf today. Plenty good and sub list says "2R7" which probably implies 2.7?

Yes, my RFC's were the same and I used them. They work fine.

I'm thinking those RFC's must be the reason why my K2 is the quietest receiver on CW I ever listened to from my lot of Orion II, Pro III, FT-1000D, TS-870, Omni VI+, and on down. Don't know what makes the K2 so quiet, but it sure ain't from lack of sensitivity and screwing with the AGC, RF gain, etc. to shut it up! Even on 80m on the full size vertical it handles the QRN like no other. All from a box of parts!

I'm working on the KPA100 now. Perhaps will make some noise early next week on 40m and 80m.

Have fun!

Subject: [Elecraft] K2 Parts ID

Hi All,
I'm doing parts inventory on my new revion G basic K2. I've counted all the
parts in RFb bag but I am left with what appears to be a mono cap, blue in
color, marked 2.7 c on one side and 1A on the other. My meter says it's
2.7pf, but I don't find a 2.7pf cap in the list. Would this be a substitute
for C22? Also rfc4,5,8,9, and rfc7 have a tan body rather than the green on
the description. Is this okay, or have I made a mistake?
Thanks for your help, Mark, VE7YMM.
