It's rather simple - above 2kHz the K3 uses 200Hz steps and below 2kHz 
steps of 100Hz.

If you tune down from 2.7kHz: 2700, 2500, 2300, 2100, etc.

If you tune up from 1.8kHz: 1800, 1900, 2000, 2200, 2400, 2600, etc.
