Aha!
I just unplugged the Heil/Elecraft headset from the back panel and now I
can not make it happen at any VOX GN setting. Don't know why I didn't
try that before. I also checked with the mic connected to the FP and the
temporary switching to transmit does happen in that configuration (after
I changed to MAIN:MIC SEL to FP.L bIAS) So... the problem doesn't exist
here without a mic plugged into the K3. With the mic to the FP, it takes
a VOX GAIN>5 to cause the momentary transmit.
