In your case that is of course very good, you probably have
better IMD then at 1000W level. But then we have all the others.
A fact is that far more then 50% of all SSB signals heard on
the ham bands do have poor IMD. It did not use to be like
this 25 years ago. Why is it like this? Manufactures play
a majore role in this. Like Elecraft K3 forexample, this is
a radio that will get considerably poorer IMD vise operated
at maximum SSB PEP power. Joe Ham does not understand this
and he will operate the box at maximum PEP power.
Oh well I better go and celebrate Christmas but I´m recovering
from a bad pneumonia and feel quite lousy.
