Well the ALS 600 I had did not put out 600 on all bands. It was especially
down on 80 meters more like 425 to 450 watts although plenty of power. I
understand this is typical with the 600 so it makes me wonder if this amp
would truly put out 1200 on all bands or even miss 1000 on some bands.
Kind of a bummer, no QSK, band decoder or as you see as that added extra in
the foreign amps, 6 meters.

Just a couple of things:
1) Unless all of your antennas are very well matched you'll need a tuner. An
autotuner for 1200w is relatively expensive. So 'no tune' is not exactly
true.
2) It doesn't appear to include QSK; the band decoder is also extra.
3) It says "1200 watts of clean SSB output". I suggest this means 1000w on
CW and
600w RTTY.
Because of 1 & 2 it's not so cheap.
