Good Evening,
I better get this out before the power and phones go out. I am currently charging the battery to get it as charged as possible. The inevitable power outage will occur some time either today or tomorrow. Our weather is rather wintery here ;) On top of my two feet of snow I am getting another foot to foot and half in short order. The wind has gotten stronger so there is blowing and drifting snow. It is hard to tell which type of snow is flying by because the trees are shedding their loads of snow too. It is difficult to see where my trucks are parked. Luckily my woodpiles are fairly easy to locate. They are some of the larger humps in the snow.

Propagation was not so bad this week but past performance does not predict the future. I did read a NASA article about the ionosphere being lower than expected. That may be why conditions have been so odd lately. The last few Fox hunts have been tough indeed. Hearing any of the hounds is difficult but to hear the fox too is almost miraculous. I will have my battery bank ready for tomorrow's nets but I may not be able to post any email report for a few days. I forgot to add in the above weather report the predicted freezing rain for tomorrow. If icing conditions occur like forecast power lines will snap into little bits of wire taking weeks to repair. But, the wood keeps me warm, the camp stove will keep me fed, and there is water in a pond nearby for little necessities :)

Please join us tomorrow evening.
