  Thanks for the reply.  I have tried Linux (Red Hat and
  Mandrake) in the past and have not been totally happy with the
  setup and the fact that several programs essential to both my
  hamming and my professional operations had no Linux equivalents.

  As I explained in another posted message, I can do P-I with my
  existing TNC and software but that was not what I was looking
  for.
