Seconded. I spent DAYS polishing the brass to a fantastic mirror finish.
If I was to do it again I'd give it 10 seconds under the mini-sander and
leave it with the swirly matt finish. Well worth it though, great feel,
nicely adjustable, and yup, a great KIT paddle to go with your kit rig   :-)
