Twas the night before shipment
when all through the shop
the Elecraft crew exhausted
and ready to drop!
 
The K3's were stacked
by the back door with care
in hopes the UPS man
would soon be there
 
The hams were all tired 
of the air-waves so dead
with K3 block diagrams
scrambled in their heads
 
When out in the street
there arose such a squeal
It must be a truck 
his brakes on the steel
 
I sprang from my chair
from in front of the rig
my heart skipped a beat
it must be something big!
 
And what to my wondering
eyes did appear
but a shiny brown truck....
must be full of gear!
 
Mr. Brown quickly hopped
from out of his truck
he had a big box....
could this be good luck?
 
He walked  to my door
and gave his sharp knock
I could only just stand there
I guess I was in shock
 
I opened the door
and what must this be
It was from Aptos
It is my K3!!!
 
As I picked up the box
I thought I could hear
The Elecraft gang
Wishing...a good DX year!
