    Referring to the upper right corner of this diagram ...

the audio chain in a stock K2 is routed through jumper wires CTRL-R18 and R19.  
However, these jumpers are removed when CTRL-J1 and J2 are installed in 
preparation for the installation of the DSP.

    You can use your K2 without the KDSP2 by jumpering from CTRL-J1-1 to CTRL-
J2-1 and from CTRL-J1-2 to CTRL-J2-2, i.e. from pin 1 on J2 to pin 1 on J2 and from pin 2 on J1 to pin 2 on J2.
