[Elecraft] K3: supplied power cable specs?

Powerwerx (http://www.powerwerx.com/) sells an inexpensive tool for
locking the connector into its housing. This tool can also be used to
remove a connector from the housing.

I have one of the crimp tools sold by Powerwerx
(http://www.powerwerx.com/product.asp?ProdID=3324&CtgID=1022) and it
works much better than the less expensive tool also from that company.
With the TRIcrimp, I get perfect crimps every time.

Sometimes difficulty in getting the contact into the housing is caused
by a slight bend in the contact (the less expensive crimper tended to do
this) or a slight out of round in the crimped body of the contact.

I have not so far soldered the contacts on, but do plead guilty to
putting a ratchet tie around the figure eight cable just before it
enters the housing and filling the void in the housing with hot glue and
extending the hot glue up to the ratchet tie. The purpose is to prevent
repeated bending of the cable near the contact. Maybe this is not good
practice. I don't know. FWIW.

Usual disclaimers.
