[Elecraft] K2 backup filter and other settings?

Bernie and all,

I have not tried it through KIO2 control, but I believe one must install the
frequency counter probe in TP2 to successfully enter the CAL FIL values, and
since that is true, I find it just as easy to crank up Spectrogram, set C22
using WWV or other frequency standard, then run CAL PLL and set the CAL FIL
values. The result is a K2 with good frequency readout and good filters.

But then I have done that a goodly number of times and am quite familiar
with the procedure. I do recommend that you try it. One or two times
through the procedure should familiarize you with it and you should be 'good
to go' foreverafter.

If you are not familiar with the procedure, check out the K2 Dial
Calibration article on my website http://w3fpr.qrpradio.com
