Following discussion on the GQRP reflector a year ago and recognising 
that 1843 is no longer a realistic QRP frequency it was decided to 
recommend 1836. This now appears as the QRP centre of activity in the 
Region 1 and RSGB bandplans. There is some activity there in Europe. 
Personally with my poor antennas and the difficulty of getting out on 
the band I am only rarely there - but enjoy working some of the Eu 
'DX' and occasionally further - VY1 and UA9, EA8, CT3 etc.

And yes 1810 is certainly out of bands for everybody outside Region 
2, if you work Europeans below 1810 they are pirates and operating 
outside their licence terms.
