[Elecraft] K1 speaker stopped working

This failure occurred about a year ago. My fix was to
put a jumper on the ear phone jack to turn on the
speaker at all times.
Don't like this fix but it works for now.
Part nr for this jack is E620028
The K2 manual I have (I do not have a K2, but I do
want one.) shows the same part nr. 
Sure wish there was a final fix for these problems for
both the K1 and K2.
