[Elecraft] K2 CW Interface

I soldered up the cable to connect the K2 to the computer for logging
and control.  What do I need to do from here to get the computer/rig to
send CW during a contest?  I am currently using N3FJP's programs, and I
plan on moving to N1MM.  I get the impression I need a separate cable
between the LPT port and the paddle input?
