Brett,

The only item in your list that is hardware related is the variable
bandwidth filters, and it has been known from the start that these would
be a delayed option. FM mode is waiting on the wider FM filter to be
available.

As far as modulation modes, that is all done in DSP which is firmware
driven, and the K3 firmware is evolving - adding new modes and function
is simply a matter of downloading new firmware, and as soon as that new
function is ready, all K3 owners can take advantage of it by simply
downloading the new firmware. There have been many notes on the
reflector stating how painless it is to obtain new firmware.

So, just like in the pasta sauce commercial - 'it' in there', it only
needs the code to make it active - and that code will be coming along as
soon as Lyle has opportunity to put the final touches on it and does the
testing. I believe I can promise that you will not be disappointed. In
the meantime, the K3 can be enjoyed for the functions and modes that it
is currently programmed to handle.
