I use the Heil HC-4 dynamic element in my microphone.  This element does
not have sufficient gain to drive my K2/100, so I changed R1 in the KSB2
module from 1K to 10K ohms.  This was all I needed to do to correct the
problem.

I now receive on-air reports of "superb audio" when on SSB with my
K2/100.
