[Elecraft] Interesting project enclosure for board-only projects

I've been thinking about the CircuitShell idea after running across it.
You could do something similar with a standard Hammond die cast box --
discard the lid and invert the case and attach to the PCB. Use two of
them at right angles on the top and bottom as in the CircuitShell if
necessary.
Either way, of course, requires that you design the PCB to fit the box
and that you watch the trace routing around the box edges if you go with
a conductive enclosure such as the Hammond series.
