[elecraft]135 ft top etc

Hi All,

My solution, though not cheap, is to feed at the centre of the doublet with 450 ladder line, and tune at 5ft above ground to a SG230 auto tuner, and then any length of 50 ohm coax, preferably double screened. I have no troubles with any rfi etc from noise sources, pc's, switch mode psu's, and don't cause any tvi/rfi myself.

Not the cheapest solution as I say, but solves a lot of problems. ATU's should be close to the antenna, not in the shack or tranceiver.
