[Elecraft] RE: 10-160 amps for QRPers

A word of caution regarding the amplifiers being discussed.  A Canadian 
dealer tried marketing these units some time ago and they subsequently 
discontinued them because of technical problems. Apparently the 
auto-bandswitching cct generated a lot of noise into the receiver and the 
(Italian) manufacturer couldn't (or wouldn't) solve the problem.

I never tried one after hearing this from the dealer.  I'll wait for the 
Elecraft units because I know they'll work ...
