[Elecraft] 40 meter reciever no moving

Not sure if my last mail made it out to the group.  So I'm retyping.  Just finished phase III alignment and thought everything was okay.  Couldn't believe my luck!  So I thought, why not give her a try on 40 cw?  Well the display shows me tuning around but I keep hearing the same RTTY signal.  Checked the other bands and they are fine.  On phase II 40 meters did work FB.  
Also, the internal speaker isn't working.  Of course I checked the obvious first, my welding, uhm I mean my soldering.  Just for fun I checked the voltage from P5 on the control board.  Nada.  Shouldn't I get something from there?
I'm sure these little glitches will get solved soon.
