It depends how much You use that knob!
If You only make some random qso's or ragchewing on skeds it is not a
problem.
Inmagine 48hrs of contesting mostly S&P on 5 bands turning that knob up and
down?
And from big Hf contests to several VHF....
And the other face of the problem....It looks better with rubber knob than
with the plastic one.
