[Elecraft] Elecraft DX Contest Group?

I would like to be a part of that group Julius. Go ahead and submit your
log however. It's too late to put a group together for the 2004 CQWW CW.

I forget how far in advance you have to notify the contest committee. It
may be as little as 1 week prior to the contest. But you need to provide
them with the name of the group and the callsigns of the stations who are
going to submit their scores as part of the group before the contest period
begins.

Entering your score with the group does NOT prevent you from competing as
yourself. You'll still get credit, a certificate or (dare I say) trophy or
plaque for your personal efforts if your score qualifies.

The CQ entry classifications play nicely into the K2 world. QRP for a K2 @
5W, LP for a K2/100 @ 100W and HP for a K2 driving a 1500W amp.

You'll need to come up with a name for the group.

Something like "Der Elecrafter's Kontest Klub" has an agressive Germanic
ring to it.
(That at least kovers K1, K2 and KX1 users).
